1. Find a Slack message you'd like to add to Herald.

Hover over the message and click on the three dots to open the menu with additional actions on the message. Here, you should now see the "Add Feedback (Herald)" option.

2. Is "Add Feedback (Herald)" missing from the actions menu?

Click the "More message shortcuts" option at the bottom of the actions menu and search for "Herald". Here, you should see the "Add Feedback (Herald)" option. Using it a few times will automatically make it appear in the first few options of the actions menu.

3. Submit user feedback to Herald.

Herald will automatically grab the text of the customer quote and try to find the contact it's coming from (this may not work for shared Slack channels due to Slack privacy settings). When it can't, you can search for an existing contact or create a new one by typing their name. Do the same to associate the feedback with a new or existing topic, edit any other options (like admin note or priority), and click "Submit."

4. Done!

You should see the feedback appear with the associated topic in the Herald webapp!
